About the Painting Classes Instructors

 I've enjoyed creating art as well as painting classes for almost 30 years. You will notice that all of my work is signed TLB my maiden initials. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums from watercolor, acrylic, oils and mixed media. Photography has also been an important part of my art career. As a child of the 80's, I found myself mesmerized watching art come to life with Bob Ross. And with my hometown of Orlando inspiration was always just a step away. Over the years, I've come to realize that every talent is a gift given by God for His purpose. 

Teaching art, especially to children and teens has always been a passion of mine. I love to watching  kids grow as they learn to express themselves in an open and creative way.  

2024 Lee Graduate with a Bachelor of Art in Studio Art. I have loved art as long as I can remember. During my time at Lee University I found a love for teaching art. God has set a fire in me to change the perspective on art from a rich man’s wall to the hearts of His people instead. Art is a gift given to us all, to be used as a tool! Let us paint when we are sad, angry, anxious and ecstatic. Let us create for His glory.
